Sopranos Last Episode - Friggin Great

I know this is a poker blog but this needed to be out there right now the last Sopranos episode has to be the greatest marketing scam and flip that no one even thought of for the show. I must admit this years (2007) HBO Sopranos has been kind of dead and it seemed like too much was going on that the story started to get flat and then trying to figure out how they were going to end it with especially Tony Soprano getting rid of the Psychiatrist and then AJ just being a friggin soft hearted wussy who cant seem to grasp reality.

Either way before I give away and spoilers I lived the ending had the whole room in silence then in frantic response and all in all I feel content that the Sopranos is over.... Maybe a movie will come along... but in my eyes that would be the worst think possible the series was great, no need for a movie and now I have another 1 hour of my weekend days free.

Drunken UFC 71 With a Poker Game After

Well as my start to a new blog I am goign to tell you about my last poker experience there really is nothing better then finding gamblers who feel that they are well versed in poker, now by no means am I a pro nor do I make more then 500 a day in poker I only make just a little over 100. Anyways so after the fight 2 guys really wanted to play me in poker and I was completely all in but unfortuanlty one of them fell out but between everyone at the party we ended up gathering 6 people for a quick Texas Holdem Tournament everyone was given 2500 in chips on a 5 dollar buy in and 3 chip rebuys, hey it was for 5 friggin dollars what do you expect LOL.

So this is a great example on how if you only raise fold while you are just starting off how you can easily take your starter freinds on some cash. I only played 12 hands total before I took it down to one on one to against the one newbie in the group who was doing exactly what I told him to do which is raise it high if you have the cards and fold if you have nothing and only call on unpaired High cards off suit and suited and raise only if you have paired 7's and above... I know I know usually its high pair but there are only 6 people at the table and its between freinds.

Either way the point I am getting is if you are a start out player check out my site mypokermonkey.com and you will see that the only raise/fold theory works and it give you an opportunity to study your oppenents and only put pressure on them while you get on your game.
